Maswood,

Attached is the GS script, I used to convert daily global temperatuer in
NetCDF format to monthly ASCII file. With little modification you can use
it to convert your rainfall for Indian domain. In your case x1 is 1 and x2
is 35. similarly, y1 is 1 and y2 is 33.
