[gradsusr] scanning descriptor file

I am working in linux emulator (cygwin) on windows...
I can see the ctl I have created but its seems that there is nothing
there...the size of the file is 0KB...when i run in grads it gives me
information that there is no elementsof the descriptor file recorded...
