Hello Subash
I'm not sure which is lat or lon in the latlon file.

The attach is the Fortran converting file and ctl file, the access='stream'
options is used in g95 compiler http://www.g95.org/downloads.shtml
Please refer here http://www.star.le.ac.uk/~cgp/streamIO.html

1. g95 dat2stn.f
2. ./a.exe
3. stnmap -i dat2stn.ctl
Here you go

Hope it helps you
John

Subject: [gradsusr] Converting Grads format data to stn format

Dear All,

I was provided with one data file(*.dat) and another txt file containing lat
lons by an agency. The *.dat file is in grads format 58 stations containing 3744
time slice data. I would like to convert the .*dat file to stn format so that
the lat/long and precipitation data are in the same file. How can I do that?

Attached are the *.dat and .txt files and .ctl file...

Thanks & Regards,
Subash
