The error message "Invalid dimension starting value" means it doesn't  
like "02z01June2006". Try removing the final 'e' from 'June' and see  
if that helps. Also, change the number of time steps from 1 million to  
the actual number of time steps you have. GrADS allocates internal  
memory based on the size of your grid, and a TDEF this big is a waste  
of resources and will slow down GrADS on opening the file.
