[gradsusr] Saving a data file in Grads

[Chidzambwa Simba]

Hie,
I am trying to save a data file in grads but when I run my script
nothing happens and there is no error message. The script is as below;
 
'open pgrb19641231.ctl'
'set lat -40 -10'
'set lon 110 155'
'set gxout fwrite'
'set fwrite -st pgrn1964'
'set lev 1000'
'define u=ave(ugrdprs,t=1,t=4)'
'define v=ave(vgrdprs,t=1,t=4)'
'd u;v'
 
Can anyone help?
