[gradsusr] feature request: text clipping

FYI for the dev people at COLA.

It would be cool if you could consider enabling user-defined clipping areas
for the text drawn using the 'draw string' command.

I was trying to draw 'H/L' symbols on a MSLP chart, and found that the
characters could overflow onto the plot margin if they were drawn too close
to the plot edge.

Using 'set clip' before 'draw string' had no effect on this overflow. I
checked out the source code for the 'draw string' routine, and found that
there's no way to clip the text;

The code goes straight to 'gxchpl.c', and bypasses the plot area clipping
functions.

It would be helpful to be able to clip text as well.

So, I just wanted to mention this as a possible feature request.

Regards,

Pablo
