[gradsusr] Problem to plot a figure in GrAds from gaussian latitude grid

If this were my problem, I would use a tool like 'od' to find out if there was a hidden character in the descriptor file. The numbers in the YDEF statement are read by the strtod() routine, the GrADS code looks for space or /t (tab) in between, and it returns errors if it finds /n, /0, or /r. It may matter whether you're using windows or unix, and it may also matter if you are using 1.9. I would also try creating a new descriptor, not editing the old one, in a brand new file. Make sure you have 64 numbers following 'ydef 64 levels'. --Jennifer
