ga-> reinit
No hardcopy metafile open
All files closed; all defined objects released
All GrADS attributes have been reinitialized
ga-> !stnmap -help
stnmap for GrADS Version 1.8SL11

Create the "map" file for using station data in grads

Command line options: 

          -help   Just this help
          -i      the data descriptor file (.ctl) to map
          -v      turn ON verbose listing
          -q      very quiet mode
          -0      DO NOT READ - used for templating and no variation in variables
          -MLLLL  for -0 set max number of levels LLLL (e.g., -M1000 for 1000 levels)
          -1      create a machine specific version 1 map 
          -2      create a machine-INDEPENDENT version 2 map (the default for 1.8SL11 and above

   Example:

   stnmap -i station_data.ctl
   stnmap -0 -M100 -i station_data.ctl ;  do not read the data 

ga-> !stnmap -i stn.ctl
Open Error:  0 time increment in tdef
 use 1 for single time data
  --> The invalid description file record is: 
  --> tdef 1 linear 12z18jan1980 00hr 

  The data file was not opened. 
File name is:  stn.ctl
ga-> 

My ctl file is already posted.
Kindly help me getting out of this problem.
