[gradsusr] custom shapefiles with shaded plots

Dear all,

I finally managed to get hold on some good shapefiles for The Netherlands, but I ran into a different problem.

When plotting the shapefile first (with shp_lines) and the shaded plot afterwards, the shapefile dissappears. The backgroundcolor really is 0, if I use the Grads shapefile it works perfectly. With contourplot it's not a big issue, cause it only overrides the borders on certain places. I'm still using 
v2.0.a5.oga.5, so it could be that it has to do something with that (can't update right now due to rightproblems at University).

So my question is: How do I use a custom shapefile in the same way the standard Grads shapefile works (ie. it will display the borders behind a shaded plot as wel).
