*Hi,
if you are using varname.d file number (olr.1 or uwnd.2**), uou do not need
to use "set dfile":

*
*set dfile 1*
*ave(olr,t=1,t=24)*
*set dfile 2*
*ave(uwnd,t=1,t=24)

orrrrrrrrrrrrrr

*
*ave(olr.1,t=1,t=24)**
ave(uwnd.2,t=1,t=24)**

*its enough.
