[gradsusr] set clab "forced" and "masked"

Dear GrADS,
Is it possible to set the contour label to both force the contour values AND omit the white box surrounding the values at the same time?
I seem to be able to only have the choice to either "force" or "masked" the set clab command. When used separately, it appears as if one overwrites the other.
