[gradsusr] "-u" option of gribmap

Updating the gribmap file got complicated with the introduction of the  
ensemble dimension -- it was no longer a matter of just adding  
additional information onto the end of the old index, since updating  
could involve additional times or additional ensembles. It is on my  
list to restore this capability, and also to try to optimize gribmap  
to speed it up. But there are other higher priority items, e.g.  
getting user-defined functions back into 2.0. Because gribmap is  
working slowly but without error as it is right now, I am not in a  
rush to break/update it.
