[gradsusr] problem compiling shapelib

hi
i have 2 quastion about GrADS :

1- how can i create a tiff format plot , i want to import tiff format
picture in arcGIS
 in GrADS i create tiff by :
->set geotiff MyPic.tif
->set gxout geotif
->d rain
but when i import MyPic.tif in arcMap , i can't see any things in it , it is
blank and only have a border of picture and have not any data !

please help me
