analyzing climatological time series

Dear Gradsusr Members,

I am currently analizing results of a 100 y (1960-2060) climate simulation experiment. I want to draw a graph
representing variation with time of difference between area averaged SON precipitation for each year after 2000 with that of
the current climate (1961-1990). The script I wrote (also attached is the monmask.gs by Wesley Ebisuzaki) seems to be producing wrong results however. My impression is that the mmask remains constant for all months.
Please let me know your recommendations.
Best, Simon
