Hi, SK,

You can try to use rc=read() and sublin(), subwrd(), etc. to extract information from your ctl file.
best wishes,

Hi GrADS users,
Is there a way to make grads reports exactly what is in the ctl file e.g.

in the ctl file
xdef  328 linear   31.51338   0.04504504
ydef  520 linear    7.76561   0.04504504

grads q ctlinfo
xdef 328 linear 31.5134   0.045045
ydef 520 linear 7.76561   0.045045

this makes a lot of problems in my scripts.

Thanks!
SK
