Hi Mike

when I create a new netcdf file and check variable and attributes "time" in
comparing the previous netcdf files is too big do you have any command.
Thanks.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
time for the new netcdf files (the VAR.nc including the u and v components
):
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
" time = 0, 44640, 86400, 131040, 174240, 218880, 262080, 306720, 351360,
    394560, 439200, 482400 ;"
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
time for the previous netcdf files (the "u.nc" and "v.nc" files) :
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
  "time = 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 ;"

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
the control files for u and v are:
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
dset ^v.dat
title   v-component velocity
undef -9999
xdef 360  linear 360 1
ydef 180 linear 180 1
zdef 1 levels 0
tdef 12 linear 05z16Jan1960 1mo
vars 1
v 0 1 v
endvars

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
dset ^u.dat
title   u-component velocity
undef -9999
xdef 360  linear 360 1
ydef 180 linear 180 1
zdef 1 levels 0
tdef 12 linear 05z16Jan1960 1mo
vars 1
v 0 1 v
endvars
