open gifsicle from grads

hi everyone
i have  a script that runs over a year and for each day builds a synoptic
map with slp ang gph at 500
the maps are saved as gif, after i finish i open gifsicle and use it to make
an animation
i would like to add to the script another part witch from grads runs the
gifsicle is that possible?
