g2ctl.pl

Hi group members,

I have a problem when run g2ctl.pl. Could you please figure out this problem?
My grads version is grads 2.0 a3, and run g2ctl.pl under window xp.
when I run
>g2ctl.pl  narr-a_221_20090912_0000_000.grb>narr-a_221_20090912_0000_000.ctl,
the .ctl is empty. 
here I downloaded the .grb data as a subset dataset. I just downloaded 1 variable hgtprs at 00z time and one level (500hpa).
please help me, thanks a lot
