How to create Station Data

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a gridded data and I can plot the variables.
I want to get the Data at one Particular Latitude and Longitude.
When I give 'set lat 12.42' it is taking at 12N
So, I request you to suggest me to get an interpolated value to a particular
lat/long.
