Problem:

I followed the instruction in the grads index about station data input in C and F. The
input data looks like:
1960 01 4218200 28.58 77.20 -999.00 -999.00 10.00 14.10 9.40
1960 02 4218200 28.58 77.20 -999.00 -999.00 0.00 19.70 9.40

I changed the read statement in F example in following points:
> Added * in place of format
> Changed input and output filenames and RVAL to o18

The stnmap went ok but when opened the ctl in grads the data displays as number in a
time lapse animation but when I set the lon and lat of the station and want to see the
t-distribution the prompt say "no stations to plot".

I tried the same in C sample with changed input and output filenames and RVAL to o18,
but with same results.

Please help.

sincerely

Trina Bose
