Setting for the length of the station id printed in a station plot?

I am printing a station plot with station id's that are either 4 characters or
5 numeric.  The plot is only printing the first four digits of the station ids
which are 5 numeric.  The data file has the station id left justified so I
don't think it's truncating the station id because of positioning in the file.

Documentation all says that an id of up to 7 is supported.

Is there some default or setting somewhere that controls how many characters
are used for a station id?
