Color barbs

Try this:
'set gxout barb'
'set clevs 'your_desired_levels
'set ccols 'your_desired_colors
'd  u;v;mag(u,v)'

Then your barbs will be colorized according to the magnitude of the
wind speed using the colors and levels you specify.
