X11 libraries needed for building GrADS v1.9 & v2.0x

P. Romero,

I used to seeing libX11 and libXau, but I just check a Linux build,
and also saw a dependancy on libXdmcp, whatever that is. Static
versions of the first two libraries are not the default, but I got
the X11 sources and made my own libX11.a and libXau.a for one
platform I build for (Solaris on SPARCs), as some such boxes come
without any X11 libraries, or so I'm told. I mentioned this to
Jennifer at COLA, offering the same concept for builds on other
platforms I have here, and she declined. I think she did this rightly,
as the mind does indeed boggle at the notion of a Linux installation
not having the minimal X11 libraries installed. And yes, ssh-style
X11 forwarding works fine for GrADS in my experience.
