WRF output

Hi Ambarish,

The WRF2GRADS program is obsolete. You should try using ARWpost (if you're running WRF ARW core) or WRFpost (works on both ARW and NMM WRF output).

The raw WRF output files are in netcdf format and they can be read by grads, but it requires some trickery. Also, the 3-D fields are on model vertical coordinate surfaces (not pressure levels) and the fields are also on staggered grids. ARWpost and WRFpost can vertically interpolate the data to pressure levels and also destagger the data.

I have downloaded the WRF2GRADS tar file.

After which I have made necessary changes in the control_file.
Upon running "wrf_to_grads" i get the following error
