Performance tuning

Hi,

I'm currently running GrADS 2 in a shared server environment and I got
some trouble with the provider because of the CPU and memory usage. I
already start it with nice 15 but the watchguard keeps shooting it down
occasionly. Is there a way to tell GrADS to use less ressources on
expense of the speed?
