Using Gradsdods on a PC to retrieve FNMOC data

I am trying to extract sea temperatures provided by FNMOC from the GODAE
OPeNDAP server. If I use an OPeNDAP application such as the "OPeNDAP Data
Connector" I can successfully retrieve data using the following sample http
string:

When I try to do the same thing running GrADSdods (on a Windows XP machine)
I get a file which supposedly has all undefined values (-999). I know this
cannot be correct because I can see the correct values using another
utility. I am using a .ctl file (extract shown below). GrADSdods tells me
that I open the file fine, and I can even 'query file' to get some
information:

Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong here?
