Yes, there is a bug in this version of gradshdf which was built without
enabling HDF output. I am not sure whether Jennifer has posted a new build
with this bug fix. If you do not need to read HDF files, you can use
gradsnc to create NetCDF files with lats4d (on the command line, "lats4d -nc
-i ...")
Jennifer: To refresh your mind, gradshdf needs to be linked with
latsnc-hdf.o, just like gradsnc links with latsnc-nc.o.
