Grads on 64 bit Linux

Hi - I have an old 1.8 version working on an AMD 64 bit slackware 10.0
box, I tried to get 1.9 to work on slackware 11  with success except
with the dods part, I eventually set up a simple box to bring in data
via dods which I fwrite to a file which is then processed on the 64 bit box.
    If you want dods to work on the 64 bit you need time, talent and a
will to succeed.
