Plotting ASOS/BUOY locations

All,

I'd like to know how I can plot the location of an ASOS or BUOY using
GrADS.  I see I can use 'draw string n1 n2 text' , but I'd like to know how
I can pass the LAT and LON instead of X and Y coordinates.  Also, is there a
way for me to plot an "X" or a "*" or a circle at the location as well?
