portion of y axis cut off with vpage

Grads users,

I am using vpage to plot 4 different plots on one page.  It works fine.  When I increase the fontsize of the y-axis however, the left-hand portion of the axis is cutoff.  How do I go about fixing this problem?  Do I use parea?  Please advise.
