Folks:
Note: grib2ctl.pl and gribmap are used for GRIB1 data, not GRIB2.
I doubt there are any tool kits to help GrADS support GRIB2.
Support for this would need to be coded
directly into the GrADS source code.
The best solution out currently there (that I'm aware of)
  is to use cnvgrib and convert the GRIB2 into GRIB1...
  which is rather clunky and inefficient, but works.

Worse yet, this utility is not trivial to compile.
