I don't understand how to obtain data via server dods (the command "get
DODS data object" doesn't work), so I've tried to elaborate a netcdf
file stored in this directory
http://motherlode.ucar.edu/decoded/netcdf/grid/ECMWF/Global_2p5/ but for
any time value I set (set t 1, set t 2 ...) the result is the same one,
even if in cdl file I read:
dimensions:
        record = UNLIMITED ; // (9 currently)
        ...
        valtime_offset = 9 ;
...
data:
  valtime_offset = 0, 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144, 168, 204 ;

The question is: how to set the time?

someone can gives a suggestion to me in order to resolve the problem?
