grads on a Sun Ultra 2 with Debian Sarge 3.1

Hello.

I try to compile grads for run on my Sun Ultra 2 with Debian Sarge
3.1, but I'm not very experimented with the compilations... There is
no exist a grads version for my architecture and operating system
combination, therefore I have to compile grads from sources, the
version is grads-1.8sl11... and the question is: What are the steps,
parameters and what packages I need to configure and compile
successfully grads in my machine...?
