interpolation for farecast verification

Dear Grads-User,
    I am interesetd for our model output verification with 3B42
rainfall data.
    TRMM 3B42  having rain fall data with 0.25 resolution 
and model output is 0.054 resolution.
    How can I make both files  to same grid resolution.
    I tried GrADS REGRID2 for interpolation of both files with
Bessel's interpolation option.
    But unfortunately I am not getting both files with same 
grid points which is obstacle to my forecast verification work.
    Plesae help me in this regard.
    Also, suggest me to calculate Equitable Threat score.
