grads pixmaps

Dears users and developers,
using "screen save" or "screen show" the user can save and show pixmaps
displayed in the grads window (at lower level XCopyArea function is
called).
I think it could be really powerful to plot pixmaps produced by other
systems (eg.: from meteosat) and to use grads for overplotting model
fields: in other words I'd like to load pixmap from outside (eg.:
"screen load <filename>) and to show them in grads window.

Do you think it could be possible ?
