GrADS DODS on AMD 64

Derek,
I know this sounds kinda strange, but create an empty temp directory on your c drive (c:\tmp).
It must be 'tmp' not 'temp'. I think it needs to be on the drive that either your scripts reside on or where Grads is installed (if different). See if that works.
The short rationale is the code, when ported from UNIX, is looking for that directory.
