data mapping

Hi,

What I have is Non lineraly spaced point to point data,Can i knw diferent
methods of plotting it.
I tried both grads and station mapping.

Grads my fundamental question is,in the binary file we have is there some
order to the numbers meaning is there some specification that longitude
comes first,then latitude,level,variables and then Time. or u can take
them in random and grads reads it,a

Station mapping,when I use, I get numbers in place of contours so, along
with oacres shuld i use something too.
