help on reading NETCDF file

Thank you Dave. Yes, I am new and told by a friend
that Grads is a good software for manipulating remote
sensing data. I was trying to install and failed to
make full installation and some libraries are missing.
The necdf software you guys have told me was also not
working for me - a bad day.
Now, I am using IDL and I hope I will be back to Grads
and netcdf as soon as I get a good help. I think I
lack basic background of how this stuff work.
