IMPORTING MAPS

Hi All;

I was wondering if anyone knows how to import your own base map into
GrADS.  Essentially, what I am trying to do is bring in a state map of
Louisiana (for example) so that I can clip the data field (say precip
for example) to a state boundary, rather than have the state within a
latlong box.  Does anyone know if this is possible ?  Any assistance
toward a solution to this problem is greatly appreciated
