Comments on building GrADS from source

I have allready done the spec file and so on as I have submitted grads
to fedora core.

It is currently blocked by the libdap review, but the spec file could
be used as a starting point. (There are also the licence issues but that's
another story).

As there there are patches and added sources the spec file is almost
useless, the srpm is at

It could be used for other distros, but I think grads isn't really ready
to have a distribution neutral spec file included. Once the autoconf
macros I provided are included and refined to detect the supplibs in
all the distros, then I could send a generic spec file for inclusion in
grads itself.
