color bar in multiple plot page

Hi,
I am plotting (4x4)=16 plots on a single page. Running cbarn would attach a
colorbar underneath any of the 16 plots (ie within the vpage dimensions of
each plot), but I would like to be able to plot one big(ger) colorbar
underneath all plots. Any ideas?
