Template for Julian days dset

Respected GrADS user,

I have GrADS readable data files such as :

data.2004.001.bin
data.2004.002.bin
.....
....
data.2004.366.bin

(i.e. in Julian days)

I like to use all these data from one  .ctl using templates. I could not
find it in the GrADS templates documentations (templates.html of ver.
1.9b4) for Julian days. Is there any way like???

DSET data.2004.%<???>.bin
option templates
...

I have to do this for other years also (if possible)...

Any suggestion(s)? Other than

cat data.2004.*.bin > data.2004.all.bin
