Try combinations of set clevs and set rbcols
eg.:
set clevs -10 -8 -6 -4 .... 26 28 30
set rbcols 20 21 22 23 24 .... 56 57 ....
this way color number 20 will always be associated to -10°C
Of course you have to define color n.20, by using set rgb
eg.:
set rgb 20 30 30 30
set rgb 21 40 40 40
etc.
syntax: set rgb numcolor red green blue
Or otherwise one can associate clevs to rbcols predefined grads colors.
Consult the manual for the color scale.
