problem with libcurses.so.1on SUN

Dear all,

@@I could not run grads on sun (SUNNW, Ultra-5_10, sparc and sun4u;
SUNOS 5.6) after downloading sol59 ve1.9b4. It give the following error

ld.so.1:gradsnc : fatal: /usr/lib/libcurses.so.1: unknown file type

killed

I guess the libraries are not compatible.

Any suggestions?
