set vrange2 doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I would like to use set vrange2 in a script to set the limits of my
x axis, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work - the x axis
limits are no different than when I comment out the set vrange2
command.  A search of the archive reveals that someone else had the
same problem, but I couldn't find the solution.  Does anyone know
why this happens and how to fix it?

I'm using Version 1.8SL11 for AIX.
