running .gs scripts in grads

Hello people

I ran the ARW WRF model for one day real cases, ran
Wrf2grads and got the .dat and .ctl files.  Now, I am
trying to run some of the sample scripts in order to
get the .nc (netcdf) files and display the data in
GrADS but when I run for example gradsnc -lc
"real_surf.gs", I get this error: Can't open
description file or that the file is not in netcdf
format and can open it or run it.
