station data

Dear all,
I faced some problems during station data creation.
The C program is woring ok but fortran program is not
as given in user guide. I am now working at linux PC.
The compiler g77, pgf77/90 ,ifort do not able to
recognise "RECORDTYPE".
After removing recordtype it works, but stnmap fails
to  create .map file due to invalid station hdr in
binary file.
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME TO FIX (1)the fortran progam or
correct one and (2) TO UTILISE countour and shaded
option for DTYPE station.
