How to use HDF options in Grads1.9b Version

Hello all,

 Someone said in the dicussion that HDF data can be
viewed using 'dtype' option in Grads recent beta version.
I am using Modis .hdf files. I wanted to use this file
directly in Grads like netcdf files. if it possible
could anyone please help me how exactly i should use it
to plot required parameters.

If there is a detail script would have been fine.
