Specifying Z levels

Hi,
just a simple questions:

Is there a way to specify in GrADS control file (or other procedures)
ZDEF in terms of height levels?

I need this, since my model outputs consider z coordinate as
absolute height, and because of vertical stretched structure,
the levels increment is not linear.
