template option

Dear Grads users
     We are facing a problem opening daily files listed below using
template
option. Each file has daily data of 5-years. In ctl file using template
option
will by default assume one-year data in one file. How to tell grads
that there are 5-years of daily data in one file.?
List of files are as follows
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19610101-19651231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19710101-19751231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19660101-19701231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19760101-19801231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19810101-19851231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19860101-19901231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19910101-19951231.nc
pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.19960101-20001231.nc

We created following ctl file
dset ^pr_A2.20c3m.gfdl_cm2.0.run1.da.%y40101.nc
options template
undef -200000000000000000.0
xdef lon 144 linear 1.25 2.5
ydef lat 90 linear -89 2.0
tdef time 14700 linear 1Jan1961 1dy
vars 1
pr=>pr 0 99 Precipitation kg m-2 s-1
endvars

This ctl file assumes only 1-year 1961 daily data in one file and

serach file named 1962 for next year.

Please advice.
